Xantho Bio. participated in the NPIC 2024 International Symposium on Natural Product Innovation and Commercialization, organized by the Asian Society of Natural Product (ASNP) from November 6-8, 2024, in Satun, Thailand. This symposium provided an exchange platform for international experts and scholars to understand the latest advancements in the field of natural product innovation research and to share the process of commercializing natural products from basic research.
At the symposium, Xantho Bio. presented two topics related to the development of GM-XAN002 through poster and oral presentations. The first topic is "Research on the Chemical Composition of a Botanical New Drug GM-XAN002 and the Management & Control of its GACP," focusing on the management processes of GACP (Good Agricultural and Collection Practice) and component analysis. The goal is to facilitate the comprehensive construction of a GACP cultivation management system. The second topic is "Therapeutic Potential of GM-XAN002: A Botanical New Drug for Accelerating Pressure Ulcer Wound Healing," which evaluates the efficacy and potential mechanisms of GM-XAN002 in preclinical pharmacological studies for treating pressure ulcers.
During the symposium, Xantho Bio. engaged in discussions with various international experts and scholars, gaining insights into the different applications and developments of natural products, which will contribute to the advancement and innovation of the research and development process.
