Xantho Bio. presented in the 39th Natural Products Symposium
Xantho Bio. participated in the 39th Natural Products Symposium and the 24th Society for Free Radical Research-Taiwan Symposium, co-hosted by National Taiwan University and Chang Gung University of Science and Technology, held from October 4th to 6th this year for three days of academic activities. GM-XANTHO presented two themes in poster presentations and oral competitions: "Research on the Chemical Composition of a Botanical New Drug GM-XANTHO and the Management & Control of its GACP" and "The Application of GM-XANTHO in Atopic Dermatitis: From Theory to Clinical Practice." These presentations discussed the progress of the GACP (Good Agricultural and Collection Practice) management process and composition analysis of the new drug GM-XANTHO, as well as the effects and potential mechanisms of GM-XANTHO in treating atopic dermatitis during pharmacological testing.
The Society for Free Radical Research-Taiwan and The Society of Chinese Natural Medicine both have a long history and are the most important conferences for academic exchange among natural product scholars. They provide a platform for research sharing and discussion between Taiwanese and international scholars. During the COVID-19 pandemic, natural products and traditional Chinese medicine played crucial roles in medicine and healthcare, garnering attention both domestically and internationally. Therefore, this joint symposium not only reviews the significant contributions of natural products and traditional Chinese medicine to major human diseases but also looks toward future developments in free radical research, showcasing Taiwan's capabilities in the R&D of natural products, traditional Chinese medicine, and free radicals.
Xantho Bio. shared its latest research progress with attendees and engaged in discussions with several experts in natural products. This interaction helped build strong relationships and provided valuable suggestions and ideas that can accelerate the R&D process and spark new innovations.
